Life matters. My belief is that we can be the author of our own lives, but sometimes we just don’t know what to write or how to write it. We cannot always shape life to our design but we do own our responses to events in life. Finding a balance between acceptance of ‘what-is’ and accessing our autonomy of what we ‘choose to do’ can be a strong combination to positive change.

I was inspired to become a contemporary psychotherapist to be able to help people make a difference to the things that matter to them. My intention is to help you to discover and harness your own resources, strengths and autonomy, in order for you to write your next chapter.

I’m passionate about wellbeing and helping people to live as rich and full a life as possible: present and in balance. Having run a yoga business for several years, I have developed knowledge and experience working with the body, breathing, relaxation and mindfulness practices. Contemporary psychotherapy balances this body work with the ability to work with the wider mind, enabling me to offer a whole package of transformative change. Working with both of these elements together enables deeper and longer lasting change, and often in a shorter time.
